{TR}Daha kimseler koşmazken sabahın beşlerinde yollara düşen, bizim için güneş toplayan ihtiyar delikanlı Safder Kartoğlu’dur. Bir gün olsun yorulmadan, her gün aşkla! Kartoğlu, 5 kıtada, 16 ülkede maraton koşmuş ve koşmaya devam eden Türkiye’nin en yaşlı atletidir. Yaşsızdır. Yarışların sonlarına doğru hızlanmak yerine “Ah bu koşu bitmesin!” diyerek adımlarını yavaşlatır, koşu bitecek diye içi gider. Yarışları “Ah bu koşu bitmesin!” diye diye bitirir.

{EN}The old young man who hits the roads at five in the morning when hardly anyone else runs, collecting sunshine for us, is Safder Kartoğlu. Without ever getting tired, every single day with passion! Kartoğlu is Turkey’s oldest athlete who has run marathons in 16 countries across 5 continents and continues to run. He is ageless. Instead of speeding up towards the end of races, he slows his steps, wishing “Oh, may this run never end!” He finishes the races saying, “Oh, may this run never end!”
